Christmas at The Winters' 2009

Welcome to my home at the Holidays! I'm still new at this so getting pictures formatted correctly I'm afraid is going to take some time.

Below is my kitchen table decorated with a table cloth from Kohls.

I originally bought this table cloth for my kitchen table, but it was too small, so I put it on the island.

i made this wreath about five years ago. I just love the red and white!

This is the new centerpice I created with bargain finds from Hobby Lobby and Tuesday Morning.

I saw this somewhere, but I don't recall where...They hung balls from the chandelier draped with garland and ribbon.

These dishes were picked up from HEB a while back. I wish they still made them so I could not only use them to display, but have enough to eat off of as well!

My Christmas houses are my favorite. They take a long time to wire together and figure out where each house should go, but it's so worth it! I love to look at those each time I'm in the den. And Wade and Walker have fun with them too!

We even named the "reindeer"

This is the boy's tree decorated with fish, shot gun shells and deer horns.

Want to see more houses, go to the following tour of homes! Thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment. This blogging thing is so new to me -this is only my second post!

We are the Winters

So, I've been wanting to set up a blog for a long time. Just like scrapbooking, the endless unframed studio pictures, etc. etc. yes I'm a procrastinator. But, this digital thing might be my niche. We'll see. Anyway, here's last year's photo for my christmas card. I didn't want to ruin the surprise for my family if I posted this years since it will be our Christmas card.
I'm a busy mom - isn't every mom? Anyway, I work full time at my father's insurance agency. I volunteer for the Lighthouse Charity Team. It's very rewarding and you get to know and meet so many incredible people. My husband and I have been married for 9 years and we have two adorable boys. Wade is 6years old and is in the 1st grade, and Walker is 2 years old. Todd is in welding supply sells and loves his job. We live in my hometown of Friendswood, TX.
I am going to try to update this on a semi-regular basis in hopes to keep in touch with family and friends and to be able to look back at what our family has been doing in the past.
